Hello everyone , for my canon r5 I have the opportunity to purchase either the ef 24-70 2.8 V2 (I already have the adapter ) Or the RF version of the 24-105 f4 for the same value for those who own both , I can only assume they are about the same size & length .

6. It depends what you mean by "better". The Canon 24-105mm f/4 IS L has image stabilization of around 3 stops. The Canon 70-200mm f/4 L lens has no image stabilization but a similar f/4 aperture. If you are simply interested in hand-holdability then the 24-105mm is superior due to it's image stabilization feature.

A used EF 24-105 f/4 costs about the same as the rf 24-105mm f4-7.1. My gut feeling is to go for the EF, but what do you think? I was originally using the RF 24-105 kit for over a year before recently getting EF 24-105. I can say that I think the kit really does work well for a kit lens, and if you went that route you would still be pretty happy.
Canon knows this and make its entry level zoom lenses with that principle in mind. Attaching the RF 24-105 STM to your canera won't allow you to turn off distortion correction, because at 24mm it doesn't cover the whole sensor. The EF 17-40 f/4L USM and the EF 24-70 f/2.8L USM are the two lenses that are most often considered along with the 24-105L when making a lens purchase. The 17-40 is not stabilized, but it is the same speed and goes much wider, and is much less expensive. If you want a landscape lens, this one may be a better choice.
