The design is simple, when the skelles spawn, they fall into a 2-block high water current (they don't have ANY way to receive fall damage when spawning in the room), which goes to a single direction to another current, which brings them to the water elevator.

A good sized mob farm with trident killer is a good xp source. A gold farm is a better xp source and often easier to make. A spawner mob farm is sufficient to get you started but slow. (Still better than what you get out of that java farm when you build it on bedrock) I have my own ways of doing things that I feel are better than prowls.

Mine works--mostly. It breaks down every 15 minutes or so and needs to be reset, either by cutting the redstone signal and turning it back on, or having to replace the kelp or sand. They break down constantly, for usually one of 2 reasons. The sand fell down through the piston, just replace the sand and kelp.
